Julian Dodsworth has been a golf professional since 1995, when he started out on his professional training with the Professional Golfers association Julian qualified in 1998 as a full member of the Professional Golfers Association.

After building up a successful coaching practice, he became the Club Professional at Stratford on Avon Golf Club in March 2008, where he has added to his coaching status by supplying the highest quality merchandise and service to both members and visitors alike.

Notable achievements have come in the way of winning the 1998 Warwickshire assistants matchplay title and even more importantly, getting his name on the honours board at Stratford on Avon Golf club in the 2010/2011 Gaydon trophy when he played with club captain, Dave Sutton.

Julian enjoys partnering the captain in club matches and in the annual International matches that are played at the club, every September. Julian has just teamed up with a new advertising agency to maintain the Elite Marketing Programme he runs through his newsletter every week which is a very exciting way of reaching out to customers on a weekly basis.

Fred started playing at the age of 15, he has a huge golfing family (cousin played European Tour, grandfather was county President and his father is currently the county President for 2012.)

As an amateur he achieved a +3 handicap, played for Warwickshire county first team and finished third in the midland order of merit in 2010. Fred also won the regional open championship qualifier at Enville Golf Club in 2010 with a course record of 66, he also holds the course record at Ladbrook Park Golf Club with a 64.

2011 was an interesting season for Fred mixing a full amateur schedule with a full time job, he played all the major amateur events including the British Amateur, St Andrew Link’s amateur championship and the Portuguese amateur championship. Fred was also part of a 6 man county team where he won 3 out of 5 of his match points.

Fred then turned professional in September 2012, he went to tour school at Frilford Heath Golf Club where he made the last round cut. He also got to the final stages of The Open Qualifying for the 3rd time.

In 2013 Fred finished 3rd on the Warwickshire order of merit which qualified him to represent the county in the regional finals which the team of 3 won by 11 shots. They then went on to finish 3rd in the national finals. He also finished 14th in the national assistants with a 3 round total of -5. He also had some good finishes in various regional pro AM’s.

In 2014 Fred hopes to play a fairly full season and improve on his success, with his main focus on winning the National Assistants and qualifying for The Open.

Fred is looking forward to dedicating his life to golf and becoming a successful PGA professional golfer. He is currently through 2 yours of his PGA course with a year to go. Fred is able to give lessons on long game, short game and putting.
